If you still want to be politically active, but maybe not do nearly as much as march all the time, or Facebook debate people. I’ve gathered resources for everyone to use to stay active in their activism, while also keeping in mind their anxiety, and self-care.
The political climate has weighed on everyone’s mind in positive and negative ways. And this might mean that self-care has flown to the bottom of the list, or like me, it jumped out the window the first chance it got.
Don’t be like me, and take care of yourself.
Daily Actions for the Easily Overwhelmed:
MyCivicWorkout: This site has 5 min., 10 min., and 30 min. activities you can do to put your activism to work. Stay involved, but at whichever time intervals you’d prefer.

Throw a Weekly Anger Party
: Call your reps as a group activity to help and support each other. And then when you’re done, self-care. Or self-care before and after.
News and Info that doesn’t suck:
: Let’s use statistical analysis to tell stories about politics, economics, sports, economics, and more.
: A U.S. political news site. Don’t overwhelm yourself and read all the things.
: A nonprofit news outlet that does investigative reporting.
